So it turns out that the Palm Pre is limited to running only 64MB of apps at any one time. If you try to install any more, you get an “out of memory” error, even though you may have gigabytes of free memory left. Palm’s website has announced that version 1.2 of the new operating system used on the Palm Pre and the upcoming Palm Pixi has been released. It will be pushed to your Pre automagically sometime during the next few days, if it hasn’t been already. |
