NewPalmPre.com began as a way to celebrate the resurgence of Palm, Inc. with its revolutionary new smartphone. I’ve been a customer of Palm (and its previous incarnation as Handspring) for many years, going back to my first smartphone, the original Treo 600. A lot of people are heavily invested in the use of many of the thousands of Palm OS applications, and the overwhelming majority of those are still usable via the emulation software in the Pre’s WebOS.
I’ve always liked Palm smartphones, and the new Palm Pre has given me a reason to continue to be a Palm user in the face of the onslaught of the juggernaut that is the iPhone.
